The holiday season is a time for giving, sharing, and connecting with our loved ones and our communities. For some, though, it can be a difficult time—whether due to financial hardship, demanding work schedules, or unexpected life challenges. That’s why Cross Valley is thrilled to announce our 6th Annual Holiday Magic initiative, a way to help make the season a bit brighter for those in need.
Do you know someone who could use a little extra holiday cheer? Maybe it’s a hardworking frontline worker who’s scheduled to work on the holidays, sacrificing their time to keep us safe and healthy. Or perhaps it’s a single parent in your neighborhood trying to make ends meet and dreaming of putting a special gift under the tree for their child. Maybe it’s even a beloved pet who deserves a cozy new bed to curl up in this winter.
Whoever it may be, we want to hear your stories! We’re inviting you to nominate a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or even share your own story with us. We believe that everyone deserves a bit of holiday magic, and with your help, we hope to make that a reality for deserving individuals and families in our community.
How you can make a difference:
If there’s someone in your life who could use a little extra joy this season, take a moment to tell us their story. Whether big or small, your nomination could help brighten someone’s holiday season. To participate, simply submit your before December 8th by sending us an email. It could be as simple as a child who would love to see a special toy under the tree, a pet who needs a little more comfort, or a family in need of some extra support.
This initiative is about more than gifts. It’s about lifting up those around us and fostering a sense of community that lasts well beyond the holiday season. A small act of kindness can have a ripple effect, touching lives in meaningful ways. By sharing your story, you’re not only giving someone the chance to receive a thoughtful gift, but you’re also reminding them that they’re not alone—and that their community cares about them.
